Englannin kes­kus­te­lu­kurs­si

Englannin keskustelukurssi 26.8.–11.12. tiistaisin klo 16.00–17.30 Iiris-keskuksessa, HUNin Attila-tilassa (6. kerros).

Englannin keskustelukurssilla kehitetään keskustelutaitoa puhumalla ryhmässä englanniksi erilaisista aiheista opettajan valmistelemia materiaaleja käyttäen.

The goal of this course is to improve your English conversation skills in a relaxed atmosphere. You will be expected to join in the conversations to the best of your ability. It’s OK to make mistakes; in fact, it’s part of the learning process. The teacher will guide the conversation so that everyone has a chance to speak.

This course will help you with the following: 

• Starting conversations + introducing yourself and others
• Making small talk 
• Keeping a conversation going 
• Showing interest in a conversation  
• Agreeing and disagreeing  
• Interrupting in a polite way 
• Changing the subject 
• Apologizing  
• Leaving or ending a conversation  
• Confidence to speak English without worrying 

Conversation topics include leisure time and hobbies, food and cooking, dreams, creativity, family, aging, money, etc. You can also suggest topics for discussion. The teacher will send listening materials related to the lesson topic via email several days before the class.

The course begins on August 26th. We will meet on Tuesdays from 16:00 to 17:30. We will meet 15 times during the autumn term.

The classes will be held on the HUN premises, in meeting room Attila on the sixth floor of Iiris.

The fee for the autumn term is 50 euros.

Ilmoittautuminen

HUNin kurssit toteutetaan yhteistyössä Opintokeskus Siviksen kanssa.

Ilmoittauduthan kursseille ensisijaisesti sähköpostilla osoitteeseen osallistun@hun.fi. Viestissä tulee olla nimi, puhelinnumero, sähköposti ja kurssi, jolle haluat ilmoittautua.

Kurssit täytetään ilmoittautumisjärjestyksessä ja ilmoittautuminen on sitova. Kursseille voi ilmoittautua myös niiden jo alettua, mikäli tilaa on. Kurssi järjestetään, kun osallistujia on vähintään 5.

Ilmoittautuminen päättyy perjantaina 15.8.2025 klo 12.00.

Englannin keskustelukurssin hinta on 50 euroa.
